To think I've been ignored on WhatsApp voice notes

I was exchanging messages with a potential date yesterday evening and we also exchanged a voice note or two .
I sent him one this morning and there are two grey ticks ...
even if he has read receipts disabled etc , do voice notes notifications turn blue regardless?

Most people can’t listen to VN as easily as reading a message, especially if they are at work.

Is that how he communicates with you?

If not, then in future just text him.

Chances are he’s not been alone to listen to the VN and will do it later.

Thanks ! I'm feeling pretty shit as he hasn't responded and I guess after twelve hours , he would have if he had been interested in pursuing a conversation.
I'll never understand these men who are all in and chat and show what seems like genuine interest in developing a rapport and then 💥 they're gone. No drama, no misconstrued conversation, just gone .

I regularly ignore voice notes if I don't have the time alone to listen to them.

OP Have you always been quick to respond? if you come across too 'available' to a man then they lose interest quickly. You could be J Lo and still have this same problem.

Keep him guessing and waiting! Instead of it being the other way around.
