Anyone feel stuck?

I'm 41, 3 kids under 6. It's intense most days juggling it all with a full time job.

In a job that pays well but dissatisfied and just feeling stuck. I can't afford to retain - I looked into web development as an alternative career. Starting salary is 30ish K. That's more than my nursery and childcare fees annual. Appreciate childcare won't cost so much in a few years time. But the point stands I can't afford to take a salary of that level .

I'm the main earner

Not sure how to get out of this rut. Anyone retained later in life?

"I looked into web development as an alternative career."

What is 'web development'...do you mean creating three-page websites for mom and pop businesses using WordPress? Or are we talking about back-end management of sites? Or apps?

I mean, there's a lot to retrain in if you know what you'd like to do. I would advise against a lot of this though, because all those lot who send their kids to coding class, fail to realise that AI will render all these skills pretty much useless. Those who know how to ideate products and develop business offerings, harnessing AI to do the gruntwork, will succeed.

Retrain not retain.

Back end development not designing pages. I'm really trying to learn into things that require problem solving hence this option.
