Where is the both option?

Haydenn · 28/04/2024 07:47

Both

QuitChewingMyPlectrum · 28/04/2024 07:51

Neither. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Neither are pleasant but they're both bodily things and if good points override it's not a deal breaker.

BuddingPeonies · 28/04/2024 08:01

Neither.
But if I was uncomfortable with something he was doing in his sleep, I'd move.

Ponoka7 · 28/04/2024 08:03

I'd expect him to address both. My DP got a Cpap machine this year and it is bliss. Before that he was trying out different nose plugs etc.

Thanks for the replies.

I'm the farter (crohns) and DH is the snorer. Just for a bit of fun really, i wondered which was worse.

I think it's the snoring, you can't sleep at all when someone's snoring next to you.

Loops (earplugs) are your friend!!

It's difficult because I don't judge the person for either thing. It's not like they do it on purpose.
DH is a heavy snorer occasionally and it does drive me loopy if I don't fall asleep first. However, I once shared a room with someone who had terrible, noxious wind and it made me feel physically sick. The room seemed to hold onto the smell for ages, even after an airing.
The wind for me is probably the worst.

I've got a chainsnorer next to me and surprisingly I got used to it🤣 though if my insomnia hits I've got no chance and usually sit dreaming of ways to stop him breathing 🤭

CyanBird · 28/04/2024 09:53

My husband does both so we have separate rooms!

You would think this because it’s the thing your DH does.

Snoring drives me insane and I remember sharing hotel rooms with my parents growing up. I would end up crying from frustration at being completely unable to sleep as they were both so loud and it was relentless.

I can’t comment on the farting because I’ve not experienced that in the same way. If they are also relentless and particularly bad smelling, I can imagine that would be horrible too. Just occasional farts that aren’t particularly ripe and I can cope fine.
