I've just heard 'Unchained Melody' on the radio
I am of menopausal age ............ and normally cannot find a fuck to give ............ and it still made me melt inside!

is this normal and reasonable?? 🫣🫣

It's normal to well up when hormonal.
Was it the lyrics or did it remind you of something?

My hormones are definitely on the side of being non-existent 😂😂
I don't think it was particularly the lyrics or reminding me of anything - I think it was more the pure power and feeling of the voices singing that really made me go 'wow'!
There's not much that makes me stop in my tracks at my age, but for some reason this still this does! 😍

If your hormones were non existent you'd be dead! You mean your estrogen is low?
I can relate. It's a pain.

I'm actually on HRT and feeling okay - it's just this particular song got me 'right there' for some reason 🫣🫣 😂

If you're suffering from problems with low estrogen, have you asked your GP for help? x

I tried hrt but had to come off it. I'm going to contact them next week though.

I’m a complete sucker for a sad song these days. Almost embarrassingly so.

After I had my children I found myself welling up at all sorts of songs I’d never been bothered about before, and classical music. It’s so embarrassing!

There are some songs that have always made me well updue to the passion they have been sung with, the profound lyrics and a sad tune! Now even more so having dealt with loss and grief they resonate even deeper. I don't want to say what they are as some will most likely ridicule. Xx
