A recruiter has been chasing me about a job, he sent over the job description and I read through it and emailed him back to politely decline as I didn’t want him to waste time sending my CV for the business to review.

He’s now called me a further five times since then. I’m fed up, how do you not get the hint. I don’t need to provide him with reasons I’m not interested.

Block the number

Why the need to create an issue over this? A. block him on all contact details you provide - you won't hear from him again and problem solved. B. Report him to the recruiting agency if you somehow didn't succeed with A.
But simple fix is quite obvious.

Are you avoiding the calls or have you spoken to him on the phone? If you’ve answered the phone he’s rude. If your just not answering he might think he has an solution to your problem with the job and just keeps missing you
