This morning-why is Cat not allowed to speak as much

Just watching This morning, it seems to be Ben talking a vast majority of the time. I like Cat Deeley and think she’s doing a good job

I’m not a fan of This Morning, but any time over the years I’ve caught it the formula seems to be ‘male presenter does big heavy talking, nice female presenter nods seriously or tinkle laughs at appropriate moments’.

She's probably sat ther thinking what a load of tripe this is but I'm getting paid a load of money so I'll facilitate it by saying as little as possible.

Was intrigued by the title, but it wasn't as interesting as what was in my head!

Well I thought it was an actual feline 😀 I'm watching now and she's chatting away fine with the menopause Dr .

Jack Dee used to say that the male in this kind of presenting duo was the "trustworthy twat" whereas the usually more intelligent female was just employed to smile and look pretty.

She's great I love her style and she's no stepford wife like Holly.

I like her and now she won't shut up 😂

Some topics she’s really over the top, where I wish she’d tone it down a bit.

Yeah I haven't watched it since Richard and Judy but whenever I've caught small sections of Phil and Holly it seemed to be that way.

Loved Phil and Holly. Ben is okay, bit mediocre. Can’t stand Cat.

I think she’s pretty good and talks a lot, a little bit too much occasionally when she talks over the experts.

Deffo doesn’t appear to be forbidden to speak to me.

Yes Holly resigned she was also being stalked and I think she just took a step away.

I was like Shush Cat 😂 I think they take turns really tbf and I think Ben is quite a generous Co host and at least they don't smirk and giggle like P&H used to do as if everything was a private joke.

When they first started together Cat got criticism for talking too much and talking over guests. Maybe she was told to tone it down?

I think they're good together
Ben particularly has a good combination of warmth wit and empathy

I like her. But she seems to be getting a lot of criticism all over her instagram page and the This Morning one saying she talks too much and talks over guests. So many comments saying this.

So either she’s personally decided to reign it in or they’ve told her to. I couldn’t do her job. The public are brutal.

@Delatron Aww really, how awful, I couldn’t do it either, good for her for keeping smiling, much nicer than Holly!

Not a fan at all, her voice grates on me and it all seems just too forced, especially when she's trying to be funny.
