They do look fake; wonder if they've just been over edited?? You're right, no self respecting agent would post a fake listing.

Acapulco12 · 24/04/2024 19:37

I can’t get over the fact it’s a million!! Even for Bristol, it seems extremely ambitiously priced to me. Some of the photos look a bit like they’ve been AI-generated, but I don’t understand the point of doing that. The estate agent won’t be taking the photos, but they will need to visit
the property to do viewings, so I don’t get how using AI-generated photos would benefit them.

PracticallyPerfectedIt · 24/04/2024 19:39

It's like a weird AI-style filter has been put over the photos to make them look fake. Very odd! And very expensive.

TinaYouFatLard · 24/04/2024 19:39

It’s CGI images created to show what it is expected to look like when the rebuild is complete. It states in the details it is undergoing meticulous rebuild.

Walkthelakes · 24/04/2024 19:39

It does say in the listing ‘undergoing a renovation’ so I wonder if this is what it is projected to look like? I’ve seen them do it round here with houses that are still being built

Nesbi · 24/04/2024 19:39

It says it is “undergoing” a meticulous rebuild so I would guess those are computer generated images of what they are aiming for.

Jc2001 · 24/04/2024 19:39

Not sure if it AI but it's certainly been doctored.

RickyGervaislovesdogs · 24/04/2024 19:40

I’ve seen new builds advertised like this- computer generated, to show what they’ll look like but don’t resemble 😂

ToMowOrNotToMow · 24/04/2024 19:41

Of course it’s computer generated images - the clue is in the descriptive underlined. Loads of agents do this so that the property can be brought to market whilst the work is being undertaken.

or is this £1mil house listing AI?
PracticallyPerfectedIt · 24/04/2024 19:43

The ones I've seen before have always said something like 'artists impression' or words to that effect to make it clear it's computer generated. Maybe that's not a thing anymore.

OreganoandFeta · 24/04/2024 19:51

It looks awful. Never heard of that estate agent, having lived in Bristol for over 10 years. That location is excellent but the property is overpriced for that type of property in that area.

Msmumm · 24/04/2024 19:58

It's a CGI, and not a very good one at that. I sometimes create them as part of my job. There should be some notification on there to say that it is not a genuine image of the property if this is from an estate agents.

LampHat · 24/04/2024 20:13

The fireplace is about a foot off the ground! 😂

RandomButtons · 24/04/2024 20:16

I think it’s photoshopped AI - you can see bits that look like original pictures then look at the fireplace, it doesn’t meet the floor, it’s just hovering.

SeeingRainbowsInTheGloom · 24/04/2024 20:16

The back of the house looks like it will be awful!

Songbird54321 · 24/04/2024 20:21

It's the only house that estate agent has listed on rightmove which I also find odd

PossumintheHouse · 24/04/2024 20:31

I'd bet good money that it is. The fireplace, the plant, the vase... 😂

And what's with the random pair of stilettos on the sideboard under the stairs? Don't they know that's bad luck.

Bearpawk · 24/04/2024 20:36

Not AI but it's cgi rendered. Lack of plug sockets and wires is a dead giveaway.
Really common on new build listings

Lightfrost · 24/04/2024 20:45

The tree in pic 2 is hilarious, there are bits floating in mid air!

CranfordScones · 24/04/2024 20:47

As someone mentioned, the fireplace looks very odd.

Also no light switches, sockets or cables for the lamps. And views out of windows are oddly blurred. It's straight out of architect's design software IMO.

Sparklesocks · 24/04/2024 20:50

I haven’t seen a house listing with CGI images of what a property ‘will’ look like. I’d much prefer to see what it ‘does’ look like in case the reno falls through or something. I appreciate selling mid-renovation doesn’t make pretty pictures but it seems like an odd choice.

paristotokyo · 24/04/2024 20:58

It does say it's undergoing a rebuild so it's showing you what it could look like when finished. Deffo looks 'sims' like Grin
