Hi there

looking for guidance from anyone who might recognise this.

Dappled mark on my thigh. Been there for at least a month. Appears the way skin can appear when very cold (but I’m not). It’s not raised, it’s marks under the skin. It’s also not a bruise or from a knock.

Thank you so much. I dont want to waste a doctor’s precious time.

YANBU - get things checked out
YABU - it’s normal (age? Mid 40s)

Levido reticularis.
worth getting checked out but very often no cause is found and not worrying

PerfectTravelTote · 23/04/2024 21:46

From the photo, they look like stretch marks.

Is that not what we used to call oven beef legs back in the 70s?

DrJoanAllenby · 23/04/2024 21:47

Corn beef legs ^

Corn beef legs in our house - from lying on the floor with our legs on the gas fire

Have been using a hot water bottle?

Corn beef legs?! Oh no!

No hot water bottle - it’s permanent - but it’s exactly that pattern.

Definitely not stretch marks - they are elsewhere on me!
