Report Dashcam Footage

I can't see where I should put this so sorry if not a very good AIBU! I was driving earlier today and a pickup pulled out in front of me and forced me into the other lane. I beeped and they then kept swerving in and out of my lane front of me. I obviously held back and they pulled off after 100m or so no harm done, is it worth reporting or should I just leave it? Does anyone know what reporting it involves?

I wouldn't bother reporting to the police, maybe send it to the company who owned the pickup if you have it?

You can report through 101, either by phoning or most forces have an online form. Report details of the incident of dangerous driving including date, time and number plate and state you have dashcam footage. Officers can then get in touch to follow up.

You absolutely should report it. It helps build up a picture if there are other such incidents. Online or to 101. I wouldn't think it would be high priority for an officer to come back to you immediately, but may well be useful

I’d send it to the company.

Send it to one of the many dash cam channels on YouTube

There wasn't a company name, it was a bright orange Ford Ranger with 'cool' graffiti style stickers. Very classy. It has a weird private number plate which I wouldn't have thought was legal. In short, it looks exactly like the sort of vehicle that would behave like that!

I will submit it online, I just wasn't sure if I was overreacting - I had a van try and cut me up at a roundabout yesterday and force in front of me, driving down the middle of the road and beeping when I didn't stop to let him in, worried I was being a bit oversensitive. Dunno what's wrong with everyone, must be a full moon! (I did actually wonder if it was me driving badly but nope, I'm definitely driving like a normal human and they're driving like absolute maniacs.)

Thanks all!
