Would you go or not?

I made friends with a woman about three years ago and we've been in touch since. We haven't met up more than once because of the distance.

She messaged me a while ago to ask if I would like to go to the evening reception for her wedding, but told me there were no places during the day as it was limited family and very close friends.

She has now messaged me to say that she can 'squeeze me in' during the day. I'm not sure whether or not to say yesterday because I don't know if it's a genuine offer or if she feels like she needs to. What would you do?

If you think you would enjoy it then say yes.

If you wouldn’t then say thanks but you can’t make it.

Don’t worry about why she’s invited you. She didn’t have to, she has chosen to, she is therefore happy for you to come.

I don’t understand why you wouldn’t go

A wedding where you don’t know anyone but the bride? I wouldn’t want to, but if you do, then go.

I would go.

I only know the bride. It's just with her saying she's squeezed me in. I felt a bit like she feels bad and is asking out of guilt or something. She's said I can take DC too if I'd like to
