To ask medical people to look at this …

DHs arm started hurting yesterday afternoon, he doesn’t recall banging it on anything.
When he looked at it he’s got a raised lump on his arm. It was red yesterday and today more white centre and bruised around the edge. It’s raised to touch. We thought maybe bit or bruised without knowing at first but someone today mentioned a blood clot and now we’re wondering if he should get it looked at but don’t want to waste anyone’s time.

Is there a central spot in the middle of it? Could it be a bite?

I’m not worried by this .

Is his hand/arm more swollen on that side?

No this was our first thought.

Doesn’t seem swollen but has said it feels weaker / tingly, but that could just be the bruise.

I thought blood clots were meant to be more red and warm to touch. This looks more like a cyst or something.

Tick bite? Is it a bulls eye rash? Google them to check. If so you may need antibiotics.

Not heard the term bulls eye rash before but just googled that. Doesn’t look like those and has never had the bite in the centre.
