To ask if this sounds normal ?

I have always suffered from migraines, usually get about three or four bad ones a year.
The last few have been particularly awful though especially today. It started early morning with vision almost completely going and then head pain over one eye which steadily got worse. Interspersed with vomiting episodes and severe tiredness . I now feel I have been hit over the head with the heaviest kind of brick .
I’ve slept for six hours and still feel exhausted . Does this seem a bit extreme for a migraine ? Just wonder if I should get further advice tomorrow when the doctors are open

I would personally get checked yes

It could be nothing and you could just suffer with migraines but i would say it's worth getting checked out. Better safe than sorry!

Sounds exactly like my type of migraines. Bloody awful and much sympathy op. If you have a first aid kit that comes with an ice pack that you crush pre use they are magical.

That's horrible, OP. Hope the doc can give you the help you need Flowers

Not unusual for severe migraines, but you should definitely see a GP to be checked over as this is not normal for you.

If you lose vision, movement or speech I'd get checked promptly if this is not your normal migraine pattern.

Sounds pretty standard. I have migraines weekly and none of these symptoms would concern me.

If there are any new symptoms, it’s worth speaking to your doctor. Worth visiting the migraine trust website too if you haven’t already.
