Shouldn’t women support other women?

What was the point of her comments saying Sydney can’t act and wasn’t pretty, how mean

I thought it was sort of harsh and unnecessary, but she doesn’t owe anyone her support because they both happen to have been born with XX chromosomes. So I think it was one human being nasty about another human, not a woman failing to support another woman.

It was not necessary for her to say it, although she's not wrong. And whoever dressed the poor woman in that film needs shooting - what's with the terrible fitting bikini tops??

It's one thing to not think someone is talented, but commenting on her looks was unnecessary and is deeply anti-feminist as it plays into patriarchal views on women's worth being connected to their looks.

I LOVED Anyone But You. It was dumb, it was corny but the chemistry was there. It was everything it said on the tin. That said, both DD and I walked out saying, "Why didn't they give her bikini tops that actually fit?!" Costume Dept, it really wasn't that hard!

Criticising a woman’s looks like that Is anti feminist IMO. She isn’t deconstructing Sydney Sweeney’s professional look, she’s just laying into her for not fitting her personal definition of pretty.

I’m sure, but calling a woman a hag is a very sexist and ageist thing to do - a hag means an older women who is so ugly she is repulsive.

What Baum said has nothing to do with what she looks like.
