annoying voice

I’m feeling quite low just for context which is the reason I started sorting my kids baby photos and videos as it makes me happy looking back when they were tiny. my AIBU is my annoying voice on literally every video I have seen of them so far. They look so sweet and cute doing usually baby things like babbling and I’m in the background with my awful voice saying silly things or just what sounds like screaming ( talking Loudly not actually screaming). I didn’t realise my voice was so loud on the recordings. Is there any way I could mute my voice out but keep their voices on there?

Almost everyone hates the sound of their own voice on tape. It's an actual scientific phenomenon and I think there have been actual clinical trials done that give evidence. It's completely normal.

Mute yourself if you like, but this is something most people have.

To your kids, especially when they were babies, your voice would have been the most beautiful sound in the world.
It brought them comfort, it gave them love, it gave encouraged them, it protected them.
You can, of course, mute your voice on the videos, but when you're gone, your kids will want to hear it.

The reason you sound louder is because you were presumably holding the phone while videoing so you're closer to the microphone.

The rule with videoing is the person taking the video must remain quiet.

But that aside, everyone hates the sound of their own voice. Don't worry about it.

Thank you all. I’m feeling a little better about it. PP is right saying they will want to hear my voice (I hope!). I do wish I could have stayed quiet on one of them - my DS then 3 years old is singing an Ed Sheeran song! I’m so surprised he knew the words, he sounds adorable but I will never be able to show anyone as I sound so annoying cheering and clapping him on!
