You're not ill. You don't need to see a Dr - fortunately as they're thin on the ground these days and about to get more so - and you're just lazy and over-indulged. There is no medicine shortage. There is no housing shortage so burn those tents. There are no NHS waiting lists - apart from those in red Wales where they stretch to the border. Plenty of dentists to go round. Idle lazy and out of work spongers, the lot of you. So we're going to make your life worse. Welcome to My New Policy. Vote for me, Dr Rishi. AIBU to say life's better under the Tories.

Oh go away..

LlynTegid · 19/04/2024 11:15

You forgot to mention poor diet as all good food is affordable, no child has to skip a meal if you manage money. Nor smoking or alcohol, so any ill health is self inflicted.

Flanjango · 19/04/2024 11:15

Life under the tories, much like the man himself, shorter

fuckingidiot2 · 19/04/2024 11:17

Absolutely better, two child cap meaning all those working class children will starve, couldn't be better 😂

Prawncow · 19/04/2024 11:19

Whatever he says they’re getting obliterated in the next election but good on him for digging out the Tories Greatest Hits songbook and giving it a go. God loves a trier.

2dogsandabudgie · 19/04/2024 11:23

I do think our welfare system needs a complete overhaul.

Prawncow · 19/04/2024 11:25

If he wants to stop huge losses at the election he’d do better to train a squirrel army to steal all the tiny pencils.

I've just returned to work after a sickness absence of almost 4 months.I was shocked at the administrative burden placed on gp's by the current sick certificate system. That needs looking at rather than trying to overrule your GP.
If people are overusing the sickness system then look at the reasons why rather than developing some bonkers new system. I've sat beside two 60+ yr old men at work. One keeled over at his desk with sepsis and was lucky to survive, another had a massive heart attack leaving the office. There are so many people who don't even use the sickness system let alone abuse it.

ToryHater · 19/04/2024 11:27

They'll be gone before they have time to implement it

frankentall · 19/04/2024 11:29

Sadly OP this will appeal to whatever weirdos from the "shaft us some more, we're scum, we are" cohort of Tory voters keep on voting to be shat on even more.

My advice:

Pull your socks up,

Love Rish!

Ps, don't forget to settle the bill on your way out.

Yes but they do know what a woman is (sorry, couldn't help myself).
