60andsomething · 18/04/2024 05:00

is this advertising for something no one has heard of?

TubeScreamer · 18/04/2024 06:47

I assume we are all supposed to google and then buy what ever it is

StressyMessyJess · 18/04/2024 06:47

Drizzle Drizzle Men: In their videos, which are largely comedic in nature, they claim they're in their "soft guy era," meaning they've decided to stop dating broke women and find women who can provide for and nurture them. This includes paying all the bills, bringing them to nice restaurants and doing all the things that men might stereotypically need to do for women they're dating.

Yes..hilarious. 😏

EmilyTheCriminal · 18/04/2024 06:50

Sounds...hilarious.

Are they just taking the piss out of women?

BeakyPIinders · 18/04/2024 08:56

I see lots of men doing this anyway

Gatekeeper · 18/04/2024 08:57

What a load of shite

SomeTrashBloke · 22/04/2024 13:17

It's men, we've changed. It’s so empowering. Women today are just intimated by these brave and amazing men. We no longer go on coffee dates or put-out on the first date. I want a women to meet my demands, I want a Bugatti, and a Rolex watch. I don’t care that she’s hard to find, I’m worth it.

StarsHideYourFir3s · 22/04/2024 16:18

I'm not googling it. Sounds shit. OP you need to change jobs if you're working in PR for them.

No, it's not a piss take of women. It's specifically a piss take of the weird "sprinkle sprinkle" movement (hence the term "drizzle drizzle"). Look up "sprinkle sprinkle" first, then you'll understand the parody.

Gilbertwasawuss · 11/08/2024 01:12

It's not funny and every single video I have seen has been by nasty misogynistic men.

It's pathetic and completely ignores the fact we live in a patriarchal society with power imbalances and the average woman spends far more getting ready for a date than the actual date would cost in It's entirety.

Suuuure, perfume, makeup, skincare, lingerie, waxing, haircare etc are all "her choice".... but also I promise none of these men would be happy with their date not doing any of that.
They would say "women these days don't make any effort, they are so masculine".
This to me falls under the invisible labour that is expected of women.

As for all the other things they mention?
I could go on, but I won't waste my time.

If people think it is funny they need to look at the underlying issues.

There would be no "sprinkle sprinkle" or sex work if women had been given equal opportunities from the start. If women weren't sexualised and victimised from a young age.

Our society is responsible for "sprinkle sprinkle".

"Drizzle drizzle" is entitled men wanting to take more than they already have.

No33 · 11/08/2024 01:16

4b is just becoming more attractive by the day

Have you ever read a thread on this website with women listing their salaries? Or the thread, which almost came across as parody, with a woman earning a whopping £50,000+ salary asking if she would be entitled to any benefits?

"Drizzle drizzle" is entitled men wanting to take more than they already have.

They are not actually asking women to provide everything and care for them. Do you know what a parody is?
