To ask for the 'Music' forum to be more prominent?

I've been on Mumsnet for many years now. Never, ever have I quite figured out where we can talk about pop music, be it classic stuff or the latest sounds.

No such trouble with Films/TV - that has its own place, you can see where it is, and I've posted on it many times.

The Music forum does exist - but it seems to be hidden away even further from plain sight than the 'Sex' forum - which I did happen upon eventually, though I don't post on it. There's a reason for that being hidden - to stop passing icky blokes from jumping all over it.

Unless Mumsnet is run by some sort of Footloose-style Deep South preacher/ father warning against the sins of modern music, I can't see any such reason for hiding the Music section. Here it is:

So it's there - under 'Talk' - but looking at the Talk section, I still can't find it!

Should the Music section be more prominent? Or am I being unreasonable? And shouldn't it also be divided into Classical and Pop?

Mumsnet makes parents' lives easier by pooling knowledge, advice and support on everything from conception to childbirth, from babies to teenagers.

Thanks for the link, I didn’t know there was one! Will go and have a read 😁

The only way to make it more 'prominent' is to post on it

Push it into active convos so it's seen

Well, that's a bit chicken and egg - I mean, I'm not going to regularly post on this just to keep it in clear sight. The Film and TV forum is prominent because of how Mumsnet place it.
