Neither DH nor I enjoy beach holidays. We’ve never been on one.

we have one DS (aged 9) and are looking for ideas for a short European break in October.

any ideas?

so far thought of Disneyland Paris, but it’s a bit too expensive

(budget £1.5k, from Scotland)

The European Centre parcs are very good. Much cheaper then the UK ones

You can definitely do disneyland paris for 1.5k! But otherwise I'd recommend Efteling and combine it with Amsterdam (avoiding the obvious non child friendly parts)

Yes yes to Holland!

I just googled Efteling and I think I was there as a child!
