Anyone watch Ina Garten (Barefoot Contessa) shows on Food Network?

She looks like she’s got such an amazing life…
-successful careers
-fantastic relationship with Jeffrey
-farmers markets and a life of luxury in the Hamptons
-travel (mainly to Paris, but still..)
-beautiful house with massive allotment
-no kids!!

Not sure if I’d like to be married to a gay man, no matter how much he loved my chicken.

God I can't stand that show, or the handmaiden known as The Barefoot Contessa. What a pile of shite it is!

I'd love the house and lifestyle, without Jeffrey!

I enjoy her recepies but everything else is so fake and staged.

Ina, Monty Don, Bob Ross and Nigel Slater were my go-to happy places during Covid lock down. Lovely interiors, great food, beautiful gardens, no-one wearing masks or coughing at you. Didn't have to think too hard and could float away on calm and happy niceness.

I like Ina. But only the shows where it's her, or her and Jeffrey, not so keen on the shows with guest chefs/celebs.

I love Ina. Her shows got me through breastfeeding 20 years ago when we lived in the US. Got all her books.

Watching Ina is like an episode of the Waltons! But with unlimited money and faux olde wolde shoppes lining the streets of the Hamptons
Every guest is clean and shiny, and she is the most effective of beards

I think she is delightful.

According to Wiki they've been married since 1968 - why would she stick around that long.

Yes I didn’t know there were rumours he was gay.

I agree I love the shows with just her and Jeffrey, not the interview/guest ones as much.
