Is it a bit normal to lie in bed and do nothing in the Easter holidays when at home in between being away or the odd outing. Like an antisocial vampire.

The not getting up and the refusal to help and my lack of any effective leverage is maddening

Sounds pretty normal tbh. Teenagers do need more sleep than adults or younger children.

Do 15 year olds need more sleep?
Sleep research suggests that a teenager needs between eight and 10 hours of sleep every night. This is more than the amount a child or an adult needs. Yet most adolescents only get about 6.5 – 7.5 hours sleep per night, and some get less. Regularly not getting enough sleep leads to chronic sleep deprivation.

This is more sleep than you needed before you were a teenager, and it is more than you will need when you are an adult. Teens need more sleep because they are in a time of very fast physical, intellectual and emotional growth.

Unexplained fatigue in teens is common and is probably related to the combination of rapid physical and psychological change, which can leave some teens feeling exhausted. Although there are no tests to confirm the fatigue, we know the symptoms are real

Thank you, it's very stark isn't it?
