To feel mis-sold this offer?

I started filling in the online form for the Natwest banking switch on April 2 but didn’t finish it until the next day. At the time of applying the switch included a £200 incentive and this information was still up on the website at the time of my completion.

After wondering why I haven't received the incentive yet, I did a bit of research and have now found out that NatWest supposedly withdrew the offer on April 2 but this wasn’t stated anywhere on the website or made clear at all. I'm aware they can withdraw the offer at any time but the £200 incentive offer was still on their website AFTER they withdrew it and no end date was stated. It appeared as though it was an ongoing offer.

I feel I have been mis sold the switch due to this and think they should honour it because their website displayed the wrong information. Feeling gutted I was one day out because of this confusion.

Contact them and ask them to honour it.
I had similar with another bank and they gave me £50.
They may give you the full amount as you only just missed it.

Definitely complain. If they reject your complaint, tell them you will go to FOS (financial ombudsman service) as they want to avoid cases going to FOS so more likely to get a payout (not guaranteed but worth a shot).
