Neighbours parking over my drive.

We've recently moved and are currently renovating our house (not fun😂) we're 1 of only 2 houses on the street that has a driveway, which is also one if the reasons we chose the house. The issue is the neighbours keep parking across my driveway (the same car has now been parked there for 3 full days without moving) which has a dropped kerb and white line, BUT there is currently a skip on the drive so obviously not being used for my car right now. With the skip on the drive I'd like to be able to use the space outside for my car, I'd never dream of parking over someone's drive whether it was used or not but as its multiple neighbours am I being unreasonable to think its rude or is it free game whilst the skips there?

Where do you find the number to call?

if you google “Report illegal parking <your borough/council>” it should come up.

the council love it as it’s £££ For their empty coffers

If there is a dropped kerb and a white line, nobody should be parking on it, including you

I think if it is your own drive you are allowed to park in front of it, despite line and kerb....

Be a crying shame if a couple of bricks fell from the skip as it was being hoisted over the car.

Check the local ads for scrap cars and get someone to take it away, tell them you have lost the keys if you try all the adverts you will find someone who will remove it no questions asked😉
