Any letting agents know the answer to this question?

Property A is owned by person A and let out by a letting agent

Property B is owned by person B and let out by the same letting agent as above

A and B are a couple (known to letting agent) but do not share ownership of their properties above and the ASTs are between each individual landlord and the tenants for that property (introductory only not managed but don't think that matters)

If the tenants from property A wanted to move to property B - would the letting agent want their usual renewal fee paid? Would it claim that they had made the introduction and therefore £ due?

Sorry to post in AIBU... could really do with any advice as so confused :/ thank you!

If I had made the introduction then yes

Thanks that's what I was assuming, can't find it in the terms and conditions but it feels like that's the answer.. just a bit annoying as we have been paying renewal fees for all of the these tenants every year despite them being introduced 3 years plus ago
