To lose my mind as streaky/cloudy oven door

does anyone have any tips for cleaning oven glass? I feel like I know how to get it clean and the products I use work, it’s just when I have to do the ‘buff with a damp cloth’ stage they go streaky and cloudy? Drives me potty!

I just clean it in the sunk with a wet brillo pad and wipe it dry with kitchen roll

Bit of white vinegar and some newspaper? Specific glass cleaner with a microfibre cloth?

Pink stuff - you get it in home bargains and Asda (and probably other places too), cheap as chips, doesn't smell and not abrasive like a brillo pad. It's amazing stuff.

People actually clean their oven doors? Who knew? 🤣

May be silly but are you removing the glass panel and cleaning both sides? It may be the inside of the glass that is dirty. Should be clips somewhere that hold it in place. I would never go near oven glass with a brillo pad by the way, it will scratch your glass to bits with swirly lines that will annoy you even more than the streaks.

Yep! It goes clean and then when I do the final wipes I’m left with streaks 🙈

Thanks I’ve got this already - the cream cleaner or another type? Do you wash it off at the end? Xx

The glass cleaners and microfibre are leaving streaks - maybe I’m putting too much on. Could try newspaper - thanks x

Once I have cleaned the glass. I use a microfibre cloth with a little bit of alcohol hand gel on it on the outside of the oven door to get rid of any streaks.

I also do this on outside of microwave to get rid of greasy finger marks.
