Warm lasagne in fridge… can I still use baby’s milk?

Made lasagne last night. It didn’t cool fully. I was desperate for sleep and just put it in the fridge. Ds needs milk as usual this morning (cows milk). Will the lasagne have made it go off?!

The milk will be fine. Let DS chug away!

The milk will be fine.

It depends, did the lasagne weigh 2 stones?

Rosesanddaisies1 · 11/04/2024 07:11

Of course it’s fine

Momstermunch · 11/04/2024 07:14

One good thing about milk is you can easily tell it's off. Just give it a good sniff.

CurlewKate · 11/04/2024 09:02

Absolutely fine. I'm laughing because James Acaster has a show called Cold Lasagna-Hate Myself. Yours could be Warm Lasagna-Doubt Myself. 🤣

It will be fine. Smell or taste it first to reassure yourself.

I hate the "can it go in the fridge so I can go to bed now" dilemma! 😆

Sniff it, if it smells good you’re fine - as always with milk! But no the lasagna wouldn’t have turned it unless it was going that way anyway.

GrumpyPanda · 11/04/2024 09:05

Totally fine. And next time you make a huge dish of something that needs to cool off, sit it in the sink in a cold water bath for an hour. Without submerging it obviously.
