Presents for 40th - given and asked for

If you are over 40 what presents did you ask for receive? And if you’ve given any 40th birthday presents what were they? A few in my friendship circle are turning 40 this year so I’m looking for some inspiration!

I’ve given a voucher for 2 for their favourite restaurant

Another a voucher for the salon where I know she gets her eyebrows done

Good old wine/champagne/Prosecco and chocolates

It depends on the friend! My friend turned 40 and she's a writer so I got her a voice to text mic, a V60 coffee maker and a voucher for a massage. Another friend wanted vouchers towards an electric bike. I'd say avoid generic stuff and show you know them.
