Dating in your 40s

Sorry about the aibu post but wanted traffic and decent opinions on this.
so I’m early 40s, have been single over a year with little to no interest in a relationship. Out of the blue, I’ve recently started dating someone I’ve known for many years. We get in really well, have slept together once when we’d been out drinking. All good.
we’ve seen each other a couple of times since, but I’ve no desire to sleep with him again. Even if Jamie dornan sidled up to me, I still wouldn’t be interested in anything physical.
I’ve always had a decent sex drive but I’m just not bothered now.
few points I should add…
I take antidepressants(have done for years with no effects)
I take the pill(this is in the last 12 months
I’m breastfeeding my 2 year old
Any insights into how I can change things?

one of the effects of antidepressants is low sex drive. It may be you just haven’t noticed the effects until now. It might be worth a chat with your GP if you are bothered about your lack of drive? It doesn’t sound like the chap is this issue if you think you’d feel the same with the young Mr Dornan.

You absolutely don’t need to change things, but if YOU want to, I’d start by understanding your medication with your doctor.

Surely I’d have noticed it before now since I’ve taken them for almost 8 years?

I use to just think there was viagra for men and that was it. Genuinely not aware, thought only males were treated.

looking for period medication under women’s health, I was side tracked to see woman have the choice of four options I saw on one online chemist for low libido themselves.

Oh really? I’ll look into that. Thanks
