To think Yodel make stuff up?

I have been waiting on a parcel which has been tracked to be in my local depot since the middle of last week. The tracking never updated. I used the online chat to find out what is going on and they said that my parcel had been put on "hold" and it had been done from my end. I never put it on hold. They now claim it will be out for delivery tomorrow. Has anyone else had Yodel claim that you have put a delivery on hold when you haven't?

Is the parcel urgent? Are you going to take it up with YODEL?

I did tell them that I hadn’t put it on hold…The chat advisor didn’t seem to be too surprised…

I've been told so many lies by Yodel...basically you need to say you'll escalate the query. Took me six days last time for them to "find" and deliver my parcel after they had accused me of not being able to find/ me not living in my house.
Shocking service.
