AIBU - food delivery couriers lack basic driving/riding rules

Just Eat
Deliveroo
Uber Eats

They have zero road sense- ride moped on one way street, the wrong way. Turn left on a straight ahead. Then a colleague on the way to work saw a JE courier forcing himself between hearse and funeral car.

The number of these mopeds and scooters users doing food deliveries with L plates is extremely high. Doubt they have any insurance or insurance which covers them for business use.

AIBU about these couriers and their lack of road safety?

YANBU OP this is one of my biggest personal bugbears. I am a cyclist in London and have nearly been knocked off my bike many times by these chumps. Total ignorance of the laws of the road - or pavement!

I know it’s become a real problem in London. Mopeds mounting pavements etc zipping in and out of traffic etc

They're dangerous. I'm in zone 4 London and they are everywhere. The riding in the pavements with the e-bikes is my personal bugbear.

I noticed this in Leeds city centre at the weekend - so many food delivery riders on (illegal, as in no pedalling going on) electric bikes, going way too fast in pedestrianised areas.
