To expect pillows to last?!

I want lovely pillows that hold their shape and can't find them anywhere! I've had silent night, Snug, own brand... and they all turn into flat pancakes after about a month!
I want lovely, soft, bouncy pillows - the horrible flat things we have now are giving me migraine.

Please tell me if they exist and where to buy them

I don’t know either but I feel your pain. My husband asked what is it about me and pillows because I’m always buying them. Like you, I hate that they all go flat so quickly.

I know it’s buy cheap so buy twice but I really don’t want to spend a fortune just for expensive pillows to do the same.

Hopefully, someone will be along to give us the solution.

These are the best pillows I've found, lasted 3 years so far www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B081V1DZFL?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Costco hotel pillows are the best I’ve found. I love them so much I have spares still shrink wrapped in storage under the bed.

Dunlopillo, they definitely keep their bounce

Same, so sick of buying pillows! I bought the Costco Hotel ones and I'm finding them too flat too. Maybe I'm just hard to please.

I bought wool pillows as I was fed-up of replacing cheaper versions. They are expensive but last, and wash well.

Dorma Forever Full from Dunelm. Still like new after 3 years.

The £12 memory foam ones from primark are so far so good about 6 months in. Still as comfy as when they were bought

I work for a high st retailer and bedding is one of the main things people buy. We don't know where everyone puts it. We literally have cages and cages of duvets and pillows every week and sell a lot of it. And we ain't a bedding shop.lol.

CranfordScones · 06/04/2024 22:38

I don't know, but you use a pillow for about 2,500 hours a year, so that's not bad value if they only last a year.

Pillow attrition seems to be lower if you use pillow protectors.

Dunelm have a very good selection, so that's where I go.

Floks pillows and bedding is amazing.

merryandbrightdelight · 07/04/2024 08:55

Thank you for all of the ideas - going to have a good look through them all today!

I'm pleased it's not just me stuck in the pillow cycle - it's never ending!

I've seen these! Do they mould to your head shape?

Yeah they're so comfy, firm and supportive but feel soft if you get my drift. I have an expensive one I bought with my mattress and the primark one is just as good, would def recommend.
