Makes you more desirable in terms of contact?
Navigating this new dating world after many many years married.. now divorced. Chatting with a seemingly decent man and this is my preferred way f communication but do you think that random texting when you feel like it is unattractive especially if you r been last to make contact? It's regular and generally reciprocal .
Please be gentle ! I don't read cues or nuance very well.

No, it makes it look like you are not interested.
It is fine to randomly text sometimes (not every time though, make sure he starts convos as well) He will like that you are thinking about him and wanting to chat.

I must be old! I always thought that being unavailable at times was more attractive! It's a new world in on line dating for sure!

I took a bit of a slash and burn approach to online dating. Sure there are the men you can play games with, string them along and play hard to get- the approach of not texting will probably help here, particularly if you are playing the numbers game. But, I think for the right ones that you really connect with and are excited to see you, then letting them know you are keen as well is probably the right approach. So if it scares them off I would doubt they were that invested anyway.

I can’t be arsed to waste my time- lots of honestly- if they don’t like it great we both know to move on. BUT if you are bruised from divorce and looking for lots of fun dates then you might want a more gamey approach.

basically it will put some men off- but I don’t think they are the right men anyway. Kill two birds with one stone
