Aibu contractor ex won't pay much for child support

My ex is a contractor with two other children.

Hes a liar and a cheat - so relationship over.

He hasn't seen his new baby, been six months, none of his family care either.

I'm guessing as a "contractor" he's able to hide money and not pay any child maintenance?

Aibu in expecting anything?

This is more telling than anything. Highly likely you'll get sweet fa...but at least it's less hassle

I would like my child to have family but yeah looks like it.

Full of promises but nothing has come from it

Depends how he's being paid as a "contractor"

If he has his own business
If he submits accounts

But more than likely he's got himself on such a low income that he'll have to pay minimal maintenance (if any)
You can try & ask the fraud investigation unit to look etc - sometimes people have success stories; sometimes not lol

My ex did agency work - took them 8 months but finally found him; he was settled into a proper full time job by then and now maintenance is steady and reliable (also never met child and been out the picture since pregnancy - said child is now 3)
