We are gutting our house. And along the way we have been outright lied to so many times by trades people, suppliers etc.
Today we had a carpet guy tells us very plush almost white carpets were absolutely fine in the hallway as they are treated to be “stain resistant”.
This comes after being told we were not allowed to have a cover on the integrated washing machine because of regulations. Went to another supplier who did it no problem.
Have more examples. I know we aren’t going to the top of the line just your standard high st shops. But as lay people decent advice would be nice!
