CMS Collect and Pay

Does anybody else use this and can explain why a payment would be missed when collect and pay is used?

We went to this method as payments were unreliable and lower than expected. I thought that is it was being paid direct from his pay, that there would be minimal issues.

I havent received March payment and got a letter today saying CMS havent received it so "I wont receive it" but they are chasing it.

My DS dad has showed me his payslips showing the CMS deduction.

Is this a case where his workplace hasn't processed this?

Its now the second time in a few months that this has happened and its really starting to annoy me. I depend on the payment to help with childcare payments etc which I have not received one now for almost 2 months.

Child maintenance options are useless. Ring them and say he has had the money deducted when are you going to receive the payment. Ask to have it escalated as a complaint to a manager if they won't tell you.

I've had calls saying I've not paid ours companies over, supply them the payment date from the bank and suddenly they find the bulk payment sat in suspense account for no reason. I don't think they are very organised!

With who? CMS?

I do think it may be "stuck" due to BH

If its because of bank holidays they should know that and not say they haven't been able to collect it

My ex is on collect and pay and has been since my claim started but I've not received a payment since November but he is on benefits so easy to avoid making payments. 🤷‍♀️
