Planning my new kitchen and currently have everything prepped and set up for sink on one run and range cooker on opposite run/wall. There'd be maybe 4 steps between them but likely to put a small island in the middle but not completely blocking if this makes sense. I keep being told this is madness and emptying pasta water will be dangerous and awful - I just don't think it will be to the point of having to change my entire plans?? Anyone else have a similar set up and find it absolutely fine?
