I love a good thread on here. Ones like the Mexican house their etc. but the other night I wondered if anyone has ever been confronted in real life about something they have posted or vice versa where they have recognised themselves.

Yes. Somebody recognised the OW in my threads on here during my horrific protracted divorce. Her situation was pretty specific and I had described it. Anyway, she and my ex-h were informed and they printed out 3,000 posts and took them to the police for "harassment" and presented them to a judge during financial matters hearings. I don't know what they thought would happen but the police weren't interested as I was allowed to seek support where I saw fit and I hadn't named them. Judge ignored it entirely. That was a fun time 🙄
