Is this still a decent iPad in 2024?

It better be because I have just ordered one! Due for delivery this week.

They all look to be reduced everywhere but I'm not sure if they are genuinely reduced or if it's just to get people to buy. I hope you like yours!

I’ve got one, it’s fine, but quite heavy compared to the IPad Air, but better value for money.

I bought ine last month. Its heavy (heavier than my old iPad air and it has the USB-c charging port, not lightning, which is a pain as i now have to invest in a few new charging cables for upstairs, work, the car, etc.. It also doesnt connect to my iPods automatically even though theyre set up (i think this could be related to the latest software update though.)

On the plus side, the usable screen is much bigger than previous models.

We have a cheap Samsung one at the min which is quite slow. We don't use it a tonne so don't know if it's a waste replacing it. But equally I think if I had a better one I might use it more!

My sister has a Samsung tablet, she says its turgid compared to my iPad.

Earbuds not ipods! Havent had an ipod for decades!!! 😁

I got ours reduced with the pen, from Very. DD has wanted one for a while and has come across an app which she can do past papers on to help revise for her A levels, and it’s a little fiddly to do on her phone.

I didn’t have an account and will get 10% cash back if it’s paid within 12 months.

She already has the right charging cable for it, and if it helps her with her revision I’m all for it.

I'd only really use it for the sky news app and online shopping. Don't know if it's an extravagant thing to treat myself to Grin
