How to put in a vaginal pessary for BV

Just that really. Got these for potential BV. can't find any instructions. Sorry I know this post might seem ridiculous but never done it before?

They're the Canesflor ones and didn't come with an applicator. I've put one in but it feels quite "low down" still? How long does it take to dissolve? It feels weird walking around etc when I'm not sure if it's far enough in? Pls help...

They are best put in before bed so they can dissolve without slipping down. Lie down, bum on pillow if needed and push as far in as you can with a finger.

@Didimum I tried this about half an hour ago and could still feel it "in there". It didn't dissolve. But maybe it takes longer? I took it out as i freaked out.

It’s really hard because BV can make you swollen so difficult to get up there, but yes if you can feel it it’s not far up enough so keep going. You’ll know when you’ve done it right. Could you maybe try and use a tampon or something to poke it in further?

But it’s daytime, you’re up and walking around. Put it in before bedtime.
