I’m taking my kids to Walt Disney world in less than a month!

they are 5 and 2.

my parents used to take me all the time as a child, I’m so excited to share it with my children, especially now as both my parents have passed. I feel like it’s a way of being close to them by carrying on that tradition.

i booked last min and got a good deal, im just over the moon, can’t wait to spoil my kids. They already love all things Disney.

aware Disney invites some weird real life comments and don’t want to appear bragging irl as we’re still in CoL, but I just had to let my excitement out

You deserve to be excited! We are going in September and we can’t wait, to us it’s the best place in the world but I know not everyone agrees xx

Good for you, it’s great you’re able to do this for your kids and you’ll have an absolutely magical time.

This is mumsnet so no doubt you’ll soon have people coming on to tell you how crap it is, but as you well know it’s utterly amazing and a definite must do for kids if you can afford it. We’re ttc our first and a Disney trip is one of the things I’m most looking forward to when we hopefully have kids.

I will never forget the first time my DC saw Main Street with the castle in the distance, all bathed in that beautiful sunshine, the bluest sky ever, then the music, and the smell of those honey roasted almonds everywhere,. And that was just the start! I hope you have the best time and it brings back lovely memories too.
