Can’t sleep in new home. Anxiety

I live alone with my daughter and today is our first night in our new home. I can’t sleep at all and keep hearing noises and feeling anxious at every little thing. Is this normal? How can I relax?!

It’s really normal . You will get used to it… enjoy your new home. 🏠

Yes, normal! It's all new and every tiny little thing will be amplified in your ears. Relax and don't stress if you don't sleep well tonight, there's plenty more night to sleep in your new home. Congratulations, I hope it's a lovely new home for you.

I was the same. Our current house was a new build, first time we'd ever bought a new build and we'd bought a new bed etc, it was just too pristine and it felt like I was sleeping in a hotel room - very strange feeling, took me a few days to get it messy homely.
