Posting for traffic - bank account switch

I am looking at switching my bank account to receive a £200 incentive.

I know that most payments are automatically transferred, but does anyone know what happens with child benefit and universal credit? Do i need to inform them or will it be done automatically?

Anybody / organisation paying to your old account will a) have the money directed on to the new account and b) be told of the new details for the next time.

I get DS' DLA payment and that carries on as normal without me telling them.

I now this is an old thread, but do people know what sort of delay is there in getting payments (private pension) moved from old account to new one?
