What's the pettiest reason you've been rejected? (Light-hearted)

I know that people are entitled to not want to date someone for any reason they wish.
As I say it's just meant to be a casual discussion. I was recently rejected by someone because I don't like the cold that much. This was at the start of the year when it was around 4 degrees. I said I could handle that sort of temperature but when it gets into the negative figures then I just can't hack it very well.
Apparently that was enough for him to not want another date... Ah well. 🤣

For having freckles 😂

I said that my favourite hobby is fencing (as in the sport). Immediate unmatch. Now I’ll never know if he got scared because I play with swords or if he thought I was weird because my hobby is to put up fences 🤣

I’ve not dated in a loooong time but my ex broke up with me because I was too ambitious.

Im not particularly ambitious. I just wanted a better job. Now that I’ve got it I’ve no ambition to get another better job.

For being a size six.

I didn't react when a very drunk girl hit on him in a nightclub.

It was very obvious he had no interest in her & there was nothing more to it.

The following morning he dumped me as "I obviously wasn't really into him because I wasn't even jealous".

His subquent girlfriend, now wife, is extremely jealous & possessive & he loves it. She glares at any woman who even talks to him.

I've only ever met her twice at a mutual friend's hen & wedding and she went crazy at me with times. They seem obsessed with each other. It's weird but they seem happy.

Because I didn't have any bookshelves (I have a kindle).

Same - I'm just not a jealous person - never have been - more of a 'if you don't want to be with me why would I want you?' type of person.

I was dumped for not being jealous enough - by a man who's previous GF had smashed up plates when he spoke to another woman - honestly way too much drama!

Not a rejection as such, because I didn’t fancy him and had no idea that he’d been considering asking me out, but a boy in my wider friendship group at university once told other friends that he had a massive crush on me and really wanted to ask me out, but he’d decided he couldn’t because his parents wouldn’t approve of him having a girlfriend who’d been to a comprehensive school.

Because my stomach was flatter than his.

Being a geek because I had a masters degree.

For being too tall. I am 5"5, he was 5"7

Because i got tangled in my umbrella and fell down a flight of stairs on the way to a posh do.

One guy turned me down for sex because he claimed he 'needed to go to Ikea with his sister', he was in my bed at the time. Ikea was about 15 miles away. Haha.
