Why?

You don't have to pay to join, why on earth get someone to post for you

or... are you actually the person and not actually 'asking for a friend'

Because sometimes, u are with a friend for lunch or whatever and your friend may be upset about something. You send in for opinions from mn..as replies are usually instant. Why bother waiting for ur friend to set it up when ye may only have s short amount of time and u are more used to navigating ur way around it

The times I’ve said, ‘posting for a friend’ it’s been due to me having a conversation with said friend. I’m always harping on about MN so I always say, ‘shall I post on MN and see what they say?’ It’s never anything serious though
