To ask if Birkenstock sandals are cheaper in Germany?

I want a pair of the Arizona big buckle Birkenstocks which are £115
I have a trip planned to Berlin for October- wouid it be better to get from there?

Sign up for the VIP emails. You've just missed the 30% off sale. They had big buckles in that.

No, I was the same when we went to Berlin but they were basically the Euro equivalent.

Also don’t plan your Birkenstock shopping day for a Sunday- I did and was most aggrieved when I sauntered out of the hotel only to realise there are no shops etc open on Sundays!

They are about the same. You might get a better range though. Friedrichstrasse has a couple of shoe shops plus the actual Birkenstock shop which is a tiny kiosk type thing full of boxes. I have bought nice ones there for 79 euros.

Don't think I've ever paid that much for Birkenstocks! That said they last a long time, so a sound investment. I live in them as soon as the weather is warm enough - I now have 3 pairs in different colours but 1 pair was bought 11 - 12 years ago and still going.....
