I tried to post something like this a few days ago but it fouled up.

I was on MN about 2014 to 2018. At some point, I think 2016, I added a post "confessing" or rather boasting about something I claimed to have done in my teens - an act of cruelty to a dog but please don't go looking for it. It was absolutely not true and to this day I don't know why I did it. I've never harmed an animal and I never would.

When I found how much upset my presence was still causing I left.

At that time I was a spry sexagenarian, working and married. I am now less spry, early seventies, retired and a widower. And I miss MN - mainly Mornington Crescent but much else too. My opinions have not changed - pro-choice, anti-Trump, and in favour of single-sex spaces remaining that way, to name but a few.

If I am not welcome please say so and I will disappear again.

So: can I come in?

If you miss the place so much, stop looking for drama, change your name and come back and post like a normal person with no mention of your past.
