So; quick answer required!! Chicken curry -pre-cooked -frozen pre UB date (18/03). Defrosted in fridge by DH 2 days ago (21/03). Was going to have tonight for dinner.....will I be risking mass vomiting???

Do you mean it’s been in the fridge defrosted for just 3 days? I wouldn’t give it a second thought.

I reckon you'll be fine. I'd eat it anyway.

SpringOfContentment · 24/03/2024 18:57

How long before the UB date was it frozen?
If you froze it on 18th, I'm not sure.
If you froze it on the 10th, probably fine.

The use by wouldn't bother me but I wouldn't eat it if it's been out of the fridge for three days. You're meant to have them within the day.

It’ll be fine, those dates are all a scam. It would have been fine to eat at least a week after the date - especially something like that which is ultra processed.
