Get a steamer. No need for products unless you want the scent. Having DC made me want to have less chemicals in the house and this was the perfect solution.

Only draw back is you can't use it when they're around as if they get too near it (touching) may scald them. I love mine.

I was also going to say get a steam cleaner. It’s so good to use, gets rid of stains and kills all the germs without the chemicals. It’s also quicker, takes me minutes to do my kitchen, so much better then scrubbing with a mop and hurting my back!

Don't clean the floors with your baby it's cruel Grin

Method direct to floor cleaner. Non toxic and smells amazing. Not too expensive either when it's on offer.

Haven’t you seen the baby mop onsies? They clean the floor as they crawl lol

When the children were asleep or otherwise occupied with another adult, that is when I cleaned. I used soap and afterwads rinsed the floor with water. Let it air dry.

I have an E-Cloth microfibre mop, just uses hot water.

Yeah I'd definitely try a mop, less wriggly than a toddler..

Doingmybest12 · 24/03/2024 10:43

Just use a mild detergent and mop. Also my mum said to get a soft floor brush for tiles, I was endlessly vacuuming and washing, the soft brush just gathers loose stuff together , dust pan and bin how ever many times a day.

Giggorata · 24/03/2024 10:51

So many people going the same way I was… just dip the baby into the bucket, wring out and rub over floor.

Actually, I’d do it when the baby is napping.

I mean with a mop!

ODFOx · 24/03/2024 12:33

I don't use a baby or toddler. I use a damp mop or swiffer with a laminate/wood cleaning solution.
How do you plan to attach them to the handle?

Hello12345678910 · 24/03/2024 21:18

I bought a robotic hoover/mop - 2 dogs and constant bloody dog hair when baby was learning to crawl was driving me insane - I just out plain water in it!

Thank you for this! I've just sent one for my newly crawling DGD.
