Hello šŸ‘‹šŸ»

I’m 32, married, 2 boys aged 5 and 1. Due to go back to very boring and soul destroying job following second born maternity leave.
Mortgage on a house purchased 2.5 years ago at a very good interest rate.

I really don’t want to return to work to my current role. I work within a complaints setting and it sucks the life out of me. There’s very little scope to move within the company now.

Is it the wrong time to retrain/change my skill set?

Is it so unreasonable to think I could have a fulfilling job I don’t hate?

If you have a fulfilling job, what do you do?

Thanks!

Practicalities aside for a second, you have approx 30 working years to go.
use that as a motivation to find ways to make your home life for around retraining if that’s what you want.
