Posting in here for traffic.
i need to give my radiators a really good clean-inside mainly. There’s lots of dust from previous tenants. Please can I have easiest recommendations. Regular radiators, not fancy new types. TIA.

Hoover nozzle at the bottom of the radiator and a hairdryer blowing downwards from the top.

A radiator brush - and hoover up the dust off the floor afterwards.

A stick with a duster on the end and pushed from top to bottom of the radiator and hoover afterwards.

ranked from easiest and quickest to longest imo!

edit to add: use a radiator shelf and the dust doesn’t seem to congregate there, added bonus of it stops those heat marks appearing above the radiator and it’s another shelf for putting stuff on and stops items from accidentally accumulating behind the radiator - socks/earrings/keys etc.

What @Alphabet1spaghetti2 said.

I did my radiators recently as they were dreadful and I still look at them and think "they're so clean!

First step - Hairdryer at the top and hoover nozzle at the bottom to suck up the dust and hair.

Second step - radiator brush (mine was £8 from Amazon). Push it down each of the fins and pull it up and down, and a bit side to side so that the bristles clean any little ledges at the top and bottom (mine have grills on the top which create a tiny ledge that holds dust).

Third step - if there's any dirt left, get boiling water. Put a towel or bowl (or both) under the radiator and carefully pour the hot water down the inside of the radiator.
