Going to Spain in June and DD will be just over a year. We took her big travel system on holiday to Portugal when she was 4 months but it's just so heavy and bulky.

I'm looking for something budget friendly (£200 max), that can lay flat, folds up small and has a sunshade top.

Thank you!

We bought a cosatto woosh for our 18 month old when we first went abroad and it was great and quickly replaced his pram when we came home. It's easy to fold up and down, is light weight and still has a basket underneath.

It's not got the best suspension though so is suited to pavements and roads not trails of any sort.

Depending how small it needs to fold maclaren techno xt is brilliant, we've done hundreds of miles with ours, it lays pretty flat and has a giant sun hood, we've flown with ours several times and still use it occasionally for our 5 year old. They're very cheap second hand.

We have a Cosatto Woosh. We've actually never taken it abroad but I think it would be good, same reasons as we bought it really - very light, decent enough sized basket, decent enough wheels, brake out of the way so easy to bump up steps, easy one handed fold, easy to open, large sunhood with SPF, ok rain cover, fully reclines, dainty size so doesn't take up much space on public transport and in shops/cafes etc, square fold so easy to fit in car boots etc.
